Bathing Your Dog - Things to Keep in Mind
Most people who love dogs own one and they take care of them like children. Dogs are really great pets who will love you unconditionally. Whenever their owners get time from their busy and hectic schedule they cuddle their dogs, take them out for walks and play with them for hours as this hobby makes them really relaxed.
If you own a dog you should take care of them in the best way possible no matter how busy you get. You should provide them with shelter, good dog food that keeps them healthy and you should also keep them clean. Younger dogs like to play all day and they can get pretty messy so it is your duty to give them a bathe every week.
There are different bathing accessories available in the market for dog for example dog shampoos, brushes, towels, creams, etc. Giving dogs a bathe is a must thing to do because they can get stinky and smelly. They roam around all over your house and sit on your things so you definitely do not want your things or house to get dirty.
Moreover, it will make a really bad impression on your neighbors or your guests that you do not properly take care of your pet. While thinking of giving your dog a bathe, you should keep the following things in mind:-
If your dog gets excited when it touches water then it is not a good idea to give your dog a bathe in a bathtub because it will make your bathroom messy. The best location and time to give your dog a bath is your garden during afternoon when the sunrays are reaching your place so that dogs can easily dry themselves up in the sun. If you will give them bathe during nights or morning then they might get sick because of the coldness. If you live in a cold environment then it is better that you give bathe your dog with warm water inside your bathroom by locking the door. You can dry it up with a hair dryer.
Before you start showering your dog you should have all the essentials items right beside you will need during the bath. If you try to get items from different places then your dog will run away and wet everything. While applying dog shampoo on your dog avoid the ears and eyes so that your dog does not get irritated with the shampoo. Clean all the areas well with the dog brushes like feet, tail, chin, etc so that they are thoroughly cleaned and smell good.
